DEVICE FOR READING IN AND COLOR DISPLAY FOR DISPLAYING IDENTIFICATION CODE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reading device that can stably and accurately read in an identification code on a color display, and a color display that can display an identification code so that it is easy to read in even with a conventional reading device.

SOLUTION: The reading device 1 uses an optical sensor 20 of a plurality of pixels to read in an identification code on the color display. An optical filter 15 employed has a characteristic of reducing (leveling) differences in output strength between the pixels of the optical sensor 20 caused in dependence on wavelengths of light. A charge accumulation time in the optical sensor 20 is set long at about 20 ms.
