PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless apparatus for notifying an index with respect to communication quality in accordance with variations in a radio wave environment. SOLUTION: A demodulator 42 applies demodulation processing to a received signal. A decoder 46 applies inverse spread spectrum processing to a demodulated signal. Further, the decoder 46 calculates a CIR value 204 and outputs it to a CPU 26 and a predictive unit 48. The predictive unit 48 derives a CIR value 208 for a succeeding period in a next reception slot timing on the basis of the CIR value 204. The CIR value 208 for the succeeding period is converted into a DRC by a CIR-DRC conversion table 50. The CPU 26 applies internal processing to received data 200 or transmits the received data to a PC 20 connected externally via an external IF section 34 and obtains the communication quality index for notifying to a user on the basis of the CIR value 204 by an optional method and displays the index on a display section 30 in a form of an antenna mark or the like.
