PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting structure for a cover of a shielding case coated on the shielding case of an electric or electronic apparatus for preventing the apparatus from falling down when the cover is opened, with the cover easy to open or close and standing upright with stability when opened, necessitating no special, long linear member for connecting a substrate attached to the cover and a substrate connected to the case main body. SOLUTION: A roughly channel-shape cover 2 is constituted of an upper panel 6 and two side panels 7, 7, and a slit 13 is formed in one of the side panels 7, 7 from its rear side. Further, a supporting piece 14 is formed by cutting and lifting a part, on the side of the other side panel 7, of the upper panel 6, and a slit 15 is cut into the supporting piece 14. The channel-shape cover 2 stands upright thanks to the two slits 13, 15 engaging with the back panel 5 of the case main body 1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
