PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal and a fortune-telling control method in which performance of fortune-telling have an insignificant adverse effect on the performance of other functions. SOLUTION: In the folding communication terminal, fortune-telling is performed when an upper case 1 and a lower case 2 are closed and the result of fortune-telling is output to a back surface output section 5b provided on the surface being on the outside when the upper and lower cases 1 and 2 are closed.
