PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipeline washing device for an endoscope for easily and certainly washing a pipeline by brushing, and a pipeline washing method. SOLUTION: The pipeline of the endoscope is washed using the pipeline washing device for the endoscope equipped with a flexible brush thread 20 having a plurality of brush parts 22 provided to one end side of its flexible shaft 21 and a discharge type electromotive winder 30 having the inlet opening 314a and outlet opening 314b of the flexible brush thread 20 and an electromotive discharge mechanism for sending out the flexible brush thread 20 inserted in the inlet opening 314a from the other end part side of the flexible shaft 21 to the outlet opening 314b. First, a user inserts the flexible brush thread 20 into the pipeline of the endoscope from the one end part side thereof manually to protrude the brush parts 22 entirely from the pipeline of the endoscope and performs the ON-operation of the electromotive winder 30. Whereupon, the flexible brush thread 20 is taken up in the direction opposite to the brush inserting direction by the electromotive winder 30 and sent out outwardly from the outlet opening 314b while inserted in the inlet opening 314a.
