Electric lighting for historical gas street lamps restructures their historical parts so as to attach 10 to 50 watt halogen pin-based lamps and preserve original gas fittings

Developed to hold gas mantles (3), a structure enables easy exchange of 10 to 40 watt pin-based lamps (4). A dimmer switch to vary lighting intensity fits into historical gas fittings to switch a historical gas street lamp (HGSL) on and off, e.g. along with other town lighting. An electrical switch lets the HGSL to be switched on and off manually with an igniter pole at events, exhibitions, etc.
