The facade mounting for the thermal decoupling of facade substructures has two functional units. The first unit (2) has a C-shaped cross section in which additional fastening elements of the substructure can be fitted. A separating/insulating layer (3) is provided inside the C-section to prevent the direct contact between the C-section and fitted fastening element and so effects a thermal decoupling of the substructure. The second unit (4) is for either the connecting of additional fastening elements or for the direct connecting to the supporting wall of the building.
