<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make compact a carriage and a recording device without damaging the mounting demounting easiness of replaceable components mounted on the carriage, and to reduce costs of a driving source by reducing the load of the driving source of the carriage through miniaturization of the carriage. <P>SOLUTION: There are set a replacement opening part 3 for exposing the replaceable component 4 on the carriage 5 to the outside of the recording device, fixing means 17, 20 and 28 for fixing the component to a use position in a lock state, positioning supporting means 17 and 18 for supporting the component in a state to be detachable to a supporting position on the carriage, guide means 29 and 30 for guiding the component between the recording device outside and the supporting position, and an operation means 19 for moving the component between the supporting position and the use position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
