<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system enabling a user to acquire electronic information without requiring labor-hour or time with a simple operation. <P>SOLUTION: A server device 1 fetches document information such as an newspaper article from a Web site 2 on the Internet 3, extracts character information from the document information, divides the character information by a classification such as company name, index, or article, and aligns a number of pieces of character information of documents in the order from a group of high classification (company name) level to a group of low classification (article content) followed by storing for every set user. A user reads a character information group for himself/herself stored in the server device 1 by use of a personal digital assistant 4<SB>A</SB>. The read character information group is successively outputted by voice from the high classification (company name) level to the lower classification (article content).
