PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable amplifying apparatus which can provide an amplification signal in which loss resulting from output saturation is surely compensated. SOLUTION: A peak suppression circuit 13 suppresses a peak level of an input signal, a main amplifier 16 amplifies the suppressed signal, and the signal at the suppressed peak level is extracted. An auxiliary amplifier 19 amplifies the extracted signal and synthesizes the extracted signal with an output signal of the main amplifier 16.
