PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing falsification of facsimile transmission information that generates a faxing time on the basis of accurate and fair time information, prints out received time stamp information on the basis of the accurate and fair time on paper so that the transmission time can be confirmed and post-verified on the basis of the printed time stamp information, and prevents the falsification of the faxed information and the transmission time so as to contrive the avoidance of illegitimate utilization and to provide an apparatus therefor. SOLUTION: When a transmitter side FAX 1 transmits an original 20 to a receiver side FAX 3, time stamp stamp-seals 23, 24 wherein the transmission time is symbolized or designed are printed out on output area of an image 21 and part or all of a prescribed area 22 of the original 20.
