PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner in which a banding due to the vibration of a turning back mirror or a casing is prevented with a simple structure. SOLUTION: The optical scanner 1 which is built in an image formation device is provided with a laser diode (LD) unit 2, a cylinder lens 3, polygon mirror 4, an fθlens 6, a turning back mirror 7, and a focusing lens 8 which focuses scanning light , and the condenser lens 8 is arranged between the turning back mirror 7 and a photoreceptor body 10.
