<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillator for enhancing the response to oscillating operation/oscillation stop by decreasing the transition time from an oscillating state to a non-oscillating state or from the non-oscillating state into the oscillating state, and to provide a high frequency superimposing module for driving a laser diode with enhanced response by using the oscillator with high response so as to switch superimposition/non-superimposition of a high frequency signal on the laser diode in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: A first bias resistor R12 is connected between a base of a transistor Q1 and a power terminal VCC, and a second bias resistor R11 is connected between the base of the transistor Q1 and a control voltage input terminal Tc. When the control voltage input terminal Tc is connected to the ground GND, a base potential of the transistor Q1 is lower than a prescribed threshold value resulting in that the oscillation of an oscillation circuit 2 is stopped. When the control voltage input terminal Tc is opened, the base potential of the transistor Q1 exceeds the threshold value and the oscillator is oscillated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
