<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stably available subcultured strain useful for an in vivo drug metabolism test; and to provide a hepatic microsome. <P>SOLUTION: The hepatic cell in which the manifestation of cytochrome P450 is induced is obtained by carrying out a three-dimensional high-density culture of hepatic cells, and further culturing the cultured product in a medium containing an inducer of the cytochrome P450. The hepatic microsome is prepared from the hepatic cell. The hepatic cell and the hepatic microsome maintain the drug metabolic activities by the cytochrome P450, and are useful for the drug metabolism test. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
