PORTABLE WIRELESS COMMUNICATION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a portable wireless communication device to be put into a pocket of a user without giving the user uncomfortableness, or to be dangled from the user's neck in a balanced manner while maintaining a preferable antenna radiation characteristics.

SOLUTION: The portable wireless communication device 101 is provided with a boom portion 110 comprising two edge portions coupled to a case body 103 of the device and a center portion positioned in-between, and at least one through hole 110h between the boom portion 110 and the case body 103. The boom portion 110 is provided with the center portion extending in a direction parallel to a width of the portable wireless communication device 101, and the two edge portions bent from the center portion. At least a part of an antenna element 202 of the portable wireless communication device is positioned either inside or on the surface of the boom portion 110.
