<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronization detection method of a multi-carrier modulation system with which symbol synchronism can be established regardless of group delay of a transmission line including a radio transmitter/receiver. <P>SOLUTION: An arbitrary sub carrier is sent from a transmitting side as a synchronization signal while inverting its phase for each symbol. Regardless of a change in the phase caused by the group delay of the sub-carrier and deviation of the phase caused by the local oscillation on a receiving side, a moving average of IQ outputs for one symbol is obtained for every sampling and a point where changes in relative ratios of IQ become discontinuous, is obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
