PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alternating electric field generating system capable of efficiently preventing an edible oil, etc., from being deteriorated, with a simple structure. SOLUTION: This system is equipped with an alternating current supply part 20 for generating a high voltage and an electric field generating part to which the high voltage of an alternating current is applied by the alternating current supply part, wherein the electric field generating part includes a first plate 11 which is formed out of an electrically conductive material and has a porous flat shape and a high voltage supplied part 40 which is formed out of the electrically conductive material, the first plate 11 is received in the high voltage supplied part 40, the alternating current supply part 20 has at least a pair of terminals, one of the terminals is connected with the first plate 11 by a first high-voltage wire 30, the other terminal is connected with the high voltage supplied part 40 by a second high-voltage wire 31, and the first plate is covered with an electrical insulating film.
