PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector which can connects surely electrically a shield and a grounding member of the electric connector. SOLUTION: In the electric connector 11 having the shield 14 electrically connected to the grounding member 21, the shield 14 is arranged in a state that the grounding member 21 is penetrated through, and a metal contact member 31 is mounted on the shield 14 which penetrates the grounding member 21 and the grounding member 21 so that the metal contact member 31 is crimped, and the shield 14 and the grounding member 21 are electrically connected via the metal contact member 31.
