PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pilot type self closing valve requiring short operating stroke and slight operating force, having compact construction and good assembling performance and allowing a user to easily adjust a water discharge time during use. SOLUTION: The pilot type self closing valve comprises a main valve and a pilot valve for serving to open/close the main valve. With the opening operation of the pilot valve, primary pressure in a pressure chamber is opened to open the main valve, and with the closing operation of the pilot valve, primary pressure is filled in the pressure chamber through a small hole communicating a primary side water channel with the pressure chamber to self-close the main valve. The pilot vale and the main valve are formed at one end and at the other end, respectively, of the pilot type self closing valve in its body, and the pressure chamber is formed by both valves and the inner wall of the body. The pilot valve is arranged in a push rod connecting the body at its inside to its outside and the main valve is arranged in a flow-in port. A pressure release hole communicating the body at its outside with the pressure chamber is formed in the side of the body and a flow-out port communicated with the flow-in port is formed in the side of the body.
