PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system capable of preventing the voice quality from being deteriorated by warranting handover of a mobile communication terminal when the mobile communication terminal makes communication with a base station connected to each of a plurality of systems of remote switches by using the remote switches connected to an exchange. SOLUTION: Even when a delay time of an optical cable between an optical channel multiplex interface apparatus 15 and an optical channel control apparatus 16 differs from the delay time of an optical cable between an optical channel multiplex interface apparatus 20 and an optical channel control apparatus 21, each of the optical channel control apparatus 16 and the optical channel control apparatus 21 corrects the phase of two frame signals to synchronize the frame signals with the main frame signals.
