PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking/unlocking device for a door of furniture, which disables a latch rod from being forcedly turned from the outside, even if an operation arm and an operation plate can structurally slide relatively to each other. SOLUTION: A base end of an L-shaped cross-section lock piece 6a, whose free end is bent to the side of the operation arm 4, is fixed to the outer periphery of the latch rod 6, and a tip piece 4' and a bent piece 4a are provided at the tip part of the operation arm 4 so as to hold the free end of the lock piece 6a in a sandwiching manner. The operation arm 4 is moved between a position wherein the free end of the lock piece 6a is held in the state of being sandwiched between the tip piece 4' and the bent piece 4a when the turning of the latch rod 6 is restrained, and a position wherein the bent piece 4a is disengaged from the free end of the lock piece 6a when the turning of the latch rod 6 is released. Even if an external force for trying to turn the latch rod 6 acts on the latch rod 6 when the turning of the latch rod 6 is restrained, the turning of the lock piece 6a is inhibited by the tip piece 4' and the bent piece 4a, which are provided at the tip of the operation arm 4, so that the restraint of the turning of the latch rod 6 can be maintained.
