PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display plate device which has a display plate constituted by forming a plate member on the surface of base member made of foam synthetic resin and allows the display plate to be simply fitted to a supporting body of the display plate. SOLUTION: A signboard K1 is provided with a display plate 1 and a supporting body 3. The display plate 1 is formed by sticking a plate member 11 to the front and rear surfaces of the base member 10 made of the foam synthetic resin. Recessed parts 100 are formed on the respective side surfaces of the side along the length direction of the base material 10. Embedded members 50 are inserted to the recessed parts 100 and are fixed thereto. Through-holes 300 are formed on pillar members 30 constituting the supporting body 3. The display plate 1 is fitted to the supporting body 3 by providing collars 7 between the display plate 1 itself and pillar members 30 and inserting fitting members 51 into the inside of the embedded members 50 through the through-holes 300 and the collars 7 from the outer surface side of the pillar members 30.
