<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for a motor which can suppress a shock in an intermeshing mechanism, even if the torque of the motor is controlled to substantially zero under specified conditions. <P>SOLUTION: This controller for the motor in a vehicle, where an engine and the motor are connected in parallel to a power transmission member coupled with wheels and also the intermeshing mechanism is coupled with the power transmission member, is equipped with a torque control means (step S1 to step S4) which controls the torque of the motor to torque substantially other than zero so as to restrain a shock from occurring in the intermeshing mechanism due to the transmission of the torque ripple of the engine to the intermeshing mechanism, even if the torque of the motor is controlled to substantially zero based on specified conditions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
