<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of applying to small, ordinarily, and large persons if necessary and improving durability and flexibility of cables, and at the same time, capable of corresponding to the necessary of monitoring different patients. <P>SOLUTION: The patient monitoring system contains at least one cable (20) for monitoring, a plurality of connecting wires (30), and a plurality of connectors (22, 24). The plurality of connecting wires (30) are stored in an outer cover (32), and each wire is extended from a first end part (26) to a second end part (28) of at least one cable (20) for monitoring. The plurality of connectors are arranged in a line from the first end part to the second end part of at least one cable (20) for monitoring, and contain at least one ECG connector and at least one non-ECG connector.
