PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical treatment device capable of controlling a discharge lamp at an appropriate output complying with the kind and state of an object to be treated. SOLUTION: In this optical treatment device, a designation number corresponding to the kind of a printing paper W and the kind of an ink in each drive part 50 is selected respectively referring to a check list prior to the start of printing; each unit of function data is read from memory 43 and transmitted to the drive parts 50 by confirming the designation number through a touch panel 42. For example, the drive part 50 of a first ultraviolet irradiation unit 30A controls the output level of a lamp 31 based on the function of a drive signal S-applied voltage at the time of "a" ink, and the drive part 50 of a second ultraviolet irradiation unit (30B) controls the output level of the lamp 31 based on the function of the drive signal S-the applied voltage at the time of "b"ink(hereafter, the explanation is omitted).
