PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus wherein operation errors are prevented in e.g., a carrying state. SOLUTION: A hinge 4 supports first and second casings 2, 3 turnably within an angular range of 180 degrees. The hinge 4 is provided with a shutter key 19. The shutter key 19 is exposed on the front side of the digital camera 1 in a state that a first face 2a of the first casing 2 is opposed to a first face 3a of the second casing 3.
