PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parallel neural network means with a function of deciding the correct/wrong answers of an output signal in response to input data with high precision and extremely high generalizing capability to a wide input space. SOLUTION: This parallel neutral network means is constituted of an output selection processing means (591) for selecting binary output signals transmitted from first and second binary output neural network means (431) and (471) which are respectively provided with learned neural networks (41, 44) learning binary teacher signals whose arrangement is different from each other in response to the estimation of correct/wrong answers performed by a correct/wrong answer estimating means (551) by using a normalized middle layer output distance calculated by a normalized middle layer output distance calculating means (531, 541) based on the middle layer output signals of the learned neural networks (41) and (44) and the output matching status of the binary output signals detected by a matching detecting means (48) and the minimum normalized middle layer output distance detected by a normalized middle layer output distance minimum detecting means (60) for each output matching status based on the normalized middle layer output distance, and for transmitting the correct/wrong answer decision, normalized middle layer output distance and output matching status.
