PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking apparatus having improved durability to a latch claw of a door and a part for sliding of the latch claw. SOLUTION: This cooking apparatus consists of a heating chamber 3, the door 4 opening/closing an opening 2 of the heating chamber 3, the latch claw 5 supported on the door so as to freely oscillate, a latch hook 12 arranged on the body and to which the latch claw 5 is engaged at the time of closing of the door 4, and a spring 9 energizing the latch claw 5 in the direction of engagement with the latch hook 12. A groove 5b is formed in parallel with the sliding direction of the sliding surface 5a of latch claw 5 with the latch hook 12, and lubricant is held inside the groove 5b. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
