PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging box with a lid, of which the strength is improved without increasing the thickness and used area of a sheet member to be used, such as paper, and which is applicable to mechanical manufacturing. SOLUTION: According to the packaging box, lid top board reinforcing boards 12 are formed consecutively on both left/right side edges of a lid top board 6 via folds, and are attached on the interior of the lid top board, respectively. The lid top board is connected to a side wall 3, and side wall reinforcing strips 14, formed consecutively on the side edges of the top board reinforcing boards via folds, respectively, are attached on the interior of the side wall 3. Left/right side walls 4, 5 adjacent to the side wall connected to the top board have consecutively formed flaps 8, 9, respectively. In an unfolded state before assembling the packaging box, at least most of the top board reinforcing boards and the side wall reinforcing strips are within the area that is encircled with a virtual extension line (m) from the front edge of the top board, (n) from the front edge of the flaps, and (o) from the fold between the side wall connected to the top board and a bottom wall.
