PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire in which the bead durability is enhanced by suppressing the separation of a bead apex rubber from a carcass ply. SOLUTION: The bead part of the pneumatic tire is furnished with an insulation rubber in the form of a folded sheet in which an inner piece part provided alongside the inner side face and an outer piece part provided alongside the outer side face in the tire axial direction of the bead apex are continued at the outer end in the radial direction. The radial direction distance h2a from the outer end of the bead apex rubber to the inner end in the radial direction of the inner piece part and the radial direction distance h2b to the inner end in the radial direction of the outer piece part are made 50-100% of the radial direction height h1 of the bead apex rubber.
