<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability of a system by facilitating investigation of set environment setting values, for changing the environment setting values. <P>SOLUTION: A printing device has an operation panel for displaying a screen of an operation menu for the user to operate the system; a mother-board for operating the system; a nonvolatile storage unit for storing an operation menu program for controlling the operation menu, screen data of the operation menu, a current value of the environment setting value, and a factory shipment value; and an engine for actually carrying out printing. There are installed an environment setting value comparison display program for comparing all of the current values of the environment setting values and the factory shipment values with each other, and displaying the comparison result to the operation panel; and screen data for comparing and displaying the environment setting values. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
