<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive device for an axial fan and an axial fan by simple structure and advantageous for size reduction, for generating large drive torque and easily and surely adjusting (changing) postures or positions of impeller bodies, for example, during drive. <P>SOLUTION: The drive device for an axial fan comprises: a plurality of driven bodies connected to the impeller bodies of the axial fan; and a plurality of actuators 5A, 5B driving the plurality of the driven bodies. Each of the actuators 5A, 5B has an electromechanical conversion element, and is constituted of an oscillation body 50 applying an alternating voltage to the electromechanical conversion element to give a driving force to a corresponding driven body.
