<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ingredient useful for inhibiting melanocyte dendrite extension and thereby improving dyschromatosis which cannot be or is hardly improved by a melanin production inhibitor having a usual tyrosinase inhibitory effect. <P>SOLUTION: A melanocyte dendrite extension inhibitor comprising an extract of a plant belonging to the genus Achillea of the family Asteraceaeis is contained in cosmetics.
