<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding seat allowing a person to easily reach the space located in the rear of the seat by hand. <P>SOLUTION: The folding seat comprises a fixed rail 9 fixed on the floor of the vehicle, a runner 8 consisting of a movable rail 10 attached to the fixed rail 9 to be slid, a front leg part 19 with an upper end part 20 and a lower end part 21 attached to the floor of the vehicle to make pivotal motions, a backrest D attached to the movable rail 10 to make pivotal motions, and a seat body A with a front end part attached on the upper end part 20 of the front leg part 19 to make pivotal motions. The backrest D is attached to the seat body A to make pivotal motions.
