INKJET TYPE RECORDING HEAD AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording head of a high printing quality which is small in variation of characteristics.

SOLUTION: The inkjet type recording head has a plurality of piezoelectric elements formed by dividing a bulk-shaped piezoelectric body of alternate layers of a piezoelectric material and an internal electrode material, pressure chambers at positions opposed to the piezoelectric elements, and nozzle openings. At least one notch part is formed in the vicinity of nearly the center of the bulk-shaped piezoelectric body of the piezoelectric element. The bulk-shaped piezoelectric body is fixed to a base substrate, and formed to correspond to the pressure chambers and nozzle openings by machining so that the notch part becomes a working region whereat the body is divided to the piezoelectric elements.
