<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathing apparatus making the best use of the health promotion effect of the charcoal and the purification action of hot water as the charcoal bath by adopting sufficient amount of charcoal in a bathtub for a home bath and exhibiting the charcoal effects for a long period of time by facilitating the attachment/detachment and regenerating the effect. <P>SOLUTION: An charcoal assembly formed by connecting the charcoal together with cement or synthetic resin is laid on the bottom of a bathtub, which draws attention as a place for laying the large amount of charcoal with neither obstructing the bathing nor contacting with the hot water. For being continuously used over a long period of time, the assembly is fixed to a frame with a handle so as to enable the moving and regenerate fine holes of the charcoal by the water washing and the sunlight.
