<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas treatment material which can fix a hot acidic gas produced in municipal waste incineration etc. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust gas treatment material comprising calcium ferrite hydrate, a gas filter, a method for producing the gas filter, and an exhaust gas treatment method using them are provided. The material is excellent in hot acidic gas fixing capacity and high in durability at high temperatures and does not melt and re-release the acidic gas after fixing the acidic gas. Since the material can fix the hot acidic gas in a wide temperature range of 500-1,300°C, it is effective to prevent the corrosion of an incineration facility, to prevent acidic rain, and to control dioxin generation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
