PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in an air conditioner having an outdoor fan motor composed of an induction motor, that the amenity of high quality cannot be obtained as an indoor set air volume is increased, when the heating operation is performed under a specific refrigerant temperature and an operation time only by switching ON/OFF an outdoor fan motor, when the heating operation is performed under high indoor and outdoor temperatures such as cooling season. SOLUTION: In the operation of the outdoor fan motor, the heating operation can be performed with the minimum indoor air volume by setting an operating method of always ON, repeating of ON/OFF, and always OFF.
