PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To economically manufacture a light guide plate used in a liquid crystal backlight or the like without requiring a large-scaled injection molding machine. SOLUTION: A mold for manufacturing the light guide plate has a stacked mold structure wherein a fixed template 1, an intermediate template 2 and a movable template 3 are provided and a first cavity 4 is formed by the fixed template 1 and the intermediate template 2 while a second cavity 5 is formed by the intermediate template 2 and the movable template 3. A hot runner 6, which has the valve gate 9 provided to a nozzle part and freely adjusts the filling amount of the respective cavities 4 and 5 with a molten resin, is provided to a runner.
