ULTRASONIC FLOWMETER AND DRINK DISPENSING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic flowmeter capable of accurately measuring the quantity of flow and to provide a drink dispensing device. SOLUTION: Ultrasonic oscillators 20a and 20b are arranged in the peripheral surface of a measuring pipe 10 in which a channel R is formed inside. Ultrasonic waves are transmitted from one ultrasonic oscillator to the inside and received by the other ultrasonic oscillator. Based on the propagation time of the received ultrasonic waves, the quantity of flow of a fluid D passing through the channel R is measured in the ultrasonic flowmeter. A slit 11 for restricting the propagation path of the ultrasonic waves from one ultrasonic oscillator to the other ultrasonic oscillator in the measuring pip 10 without going through the channel R is provided between the ultrasonic oscillators 20a and 20b in the measuring pipe 10.
