PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide structure for a roller chain system in which chain noises are reduced to prevent noises from being caused. SOLUTION: The guide structure 1 for a roller chain system includes roller chains 2, sprockets 3 having a plurality of involute teeth 3a to mesh with rollers 4 of the chains 2. The guide structure 1 is provided with a guide means which guides the chains 2, and holds the locus of the center of the roller on the straight line at least in the distance between a starting position in meshing of the roller 4 with the sprocket 3 to an end position in the meshing.
