PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for locking/unlocking a sliding door of a cabinet, which prevents the occurrence of a situation such that it cannot be determined whether or not the sliding door is locked, in spite of the actuation of an electric actuator, by preventing the actuation of the electric actuator except in the fully closed state of the sliding door. SOLUTION: This device for locking/unlocking the sliding door, wherein engaging members 62 of the sliding doors at left and right ends each can be engaged with/disengaged from members 64 to be engaged on both sides of a cabinet body whose front opening can be opened/closed by the sliding operations of the sliding doors, is equipped with the electric actuator for locking/unlocking the sliding door, and two limit switches 70 for detecting that the left and right engaging members 62 each are engaged with the members 64 to be engaged; and the electric actuator is actuated only when both the limit switches 70 detect an engaging state.
