PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a magnetic head assembly that has the small number of components and can be mounted only by rotating the magnetic head assembly on a prescribed part of a base plate. SOLUTION: The mounting structure of the magnetic head assembly 51 is provided with a bottom plate 21 having a guide hole 21b and a receiving hole 21c, and a wall plate. Part of the wall plate is folded to form an engaging part 22a. The magnetic head assembly 51 is provided with a body part, a leg part 51b, an arm part 51d of one side face side of the body part, and a part to be engaged 51f of the other side face side of the body part. A projection 51g is formed on the arm part 51d, the leg part 51b is inserted in the guide hole 21b, the projection 51g is fitted in the receiving hole 21c, and the part to be engaged 51f is engaged with the engaging part 22a.
