摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Klystron device surely coupling and preventing drop in structural strength. SOLUTION: An output cavity 15 has first to third cavity cells 16, 17, 18 from an electron gun part side, and first and second irises 21, 22 are formed among the first to the third cavity cells 16-18. Since in the output cavity 15, the thickness W2 of the second iris 22 is thinner than the thickness W1 of the first iris 21, coupling coefficients M of the first to the third cavity cells 16-18 and an electromagnetic field are made gradually small toward the downstream direction. The speed of electron beams is reduced in the first and the third cavity cells 16-18 in order, and voltages of the second and the third cavity cells 17, 18 positioned in the downstream side than the first cavity cell 16 are controlled.
