PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact tool for reducing a load to a worker, reducing the load to a speed reduction mechanism part, and having the long service life by reducing reaction of torque generated when fitting a hammer and an anvil are held fitted. SOLUTION: A lead of a cam 14a bends in a position for separating from fitting with the anvil 17 when the hammer 15 retreats from a position for maximally advancing the hammer 15, and maximally fitting with the anvil 17, and is constituted in a cam shape larger in a cam lead angle just after bending than a cam lead angle just before the cam 14a bends.
