PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substantially circular cushion body which is easily molded, has a high dimensional accuracy and less fluctuations of density, and is molded from a tubular net made by plain-knitting fine metallic wires. SOLUTION: A net 10A obtained by plain-knitting fine metallic wires tubularly is drawn by passing a cylindrical die 13 and is formed into a substantially flattened cross section by feed rollers 15, 16 and then, is compression-molded into a flat strip through vertical faces press working and both faces press working in a press molding portion 5 and is cut into the prescribed length with a cutting blade 42 and then, is molded into the substantially circular arc through the press working in the U shape press portion 8 and the cushion body of the substantially circular arc can be obtained.
