PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a micro-engine handpiece containing a micro-engine in its head case section utilizable while the conventional micro-engine handpiece, the instrument hose section of an air turbine handpiece, or a handpiece section containing a micro-motor is made utilizable as it is. SOLUTION: This dental handpiece is constituted to rotate an odontotherapeutic tool 9 by means of a micro-motor M.M housed in its head case section 11. This handpiece is provided with a rotary machine E.M composed of an electric motor or air motor and a generator G which is rotated by the rotary machine E.M.
