PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate stand having a simple structure to be easily manufactured, capable of securely supporting a plate. SOLUTION: The plate stand comprises a hook disposed near the front of a bottom part for locking the plate 10, two board members 20 and 21 having upper sides parallel to a setting surface 11 when the plate stand is set, with the front of the sides being located behind the hook, and holes located near the upper sides, and a rod member 30 piercing through the holes, slightly narrower than the holes, having collars at both ends. The plate stand has a simple structure to be easily manufactured, and a lot of labors are not necessary as the assembly process is not required.
