PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker having a good operability, precisely measuring the rice and performing a prescribed cooking with the water quantity according to the measurement of the rice. SOLUTION: This rice cooker is provided with a rice cooker body 21, a pot 22 detachably incorporated in the rice cooker body 21, a pot heating means 24 heating the pot 22, a lid 23 covering an opening part of the pot 22, weight measuring means 26 and 27 measuring the weight of the pot 22, and a display part 32 provided in the part of the rice cooker body 21 or the lid 23. The display part 32 displays a cooking process and the rice quantity and the water quantity according to the measurement by the weight measuring means 26 and 27. This constitution allows a user to operate according to the cooking process, precisely measures the rice, and performs the precise cooking with the water quantity according to the measurement of the rice.
