PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a superimposed display which enables the accurate fitting of the preserved image with the current image even when the shape of the preserved image does not correspond to that of the preserved image exactly. SOLUTION: In the fluoroscopic imaging system, when the preserved image in an image memory 5 is displayed superimposed on the current image just obtained in a real time, the preserved image which has a largest image duplication area with an imaging area matching the current image and hence, adequately corresponds to the current image is automatically selected from among the preserved images with a preserved image selection part 14 and additionally, an image superimposed display part 15 is provided to automatically display the image alone belonging to the image duplication area in the selected image being superimposed on the current image to match it. This achieves the superimposed display which enables the accurate fitting of the preserved image with the current image even when the preserved image does not correspond to the current image exactly.
